Hey @DOGBOY I tried this a while ago as I was having similar issues. Tbh it didn't make any real difference when I tried to do a controlled sample. What DID make a difference, however, was using a SodaStream CO2 bottle to purge the bottles before filling and, more importantly, before capping. I do this for pretty much every brew now and I honestly think it keeps the hoppy brews much fresher for longer.
