Quick update...
Matey has now started asking where his refund has got to. Amazon have been predictably quiet on the matter - the case has been "transferred", and we've had no response from them for over a week.
I decided today, that I would take the matter further. Spoke to the local police, they referred me to PHE.
Spoke to PHE, they suggested that I contact the police!
Wish I had a tail - might be fun catching it, as all I seem to be doing is chasing it!
