The purists would say that if it tastes like tea you are over sparging as the "tea" taste would be the tannins being extracted from the grain.
But if it works for you then it's good :thumb:
 
Started boil with 25 litres, ended up with 16 litres with an SG 40 :x . Pc not doing too well right now, will post tommorrow. Yes, I did take pics.

exactly. when i get towards the end i sparge into a jug and empty and taste regularly. when it tastes like tea - that jug doesnt go in.
