My set up is 3 Corny Kegs supplying 3 beer fonts in my bar via a flash cooler. I also have a separate Kegerator that delivers cask ale to a hand pump via a demand valve.

My question is - Is it safe to leave Starsan in the beer lines between brews? The beer lines are 3/8” Valspar and the flash cooler has Stainless Steel coils. I’ve usually cleaned the lines with VDP and flushed with clean water.

Thank you in advance.

I do usually pull through some through after I’ve finished a keg. It stays in the line until I pult some new beer on. Never had any issues with taste or noticeable degradation of the lines or fittings. As with most of my brewing though, I’ve not based practice on any sound science, some people may give good reasons for not doing this!
