Hi, just taken a peek in the fern fridge, and was shocked to see the temperature at 15.4,°c... Not as disastrous as overheating, but still very disappointing when you've got supposed temp control, with an STC 1000, and a tube heater. Controller set for 19.5°c, not calling for heat.
Swopped it out with another I had in stock, and was amazed at the difference between the two- original 178g, the imposter weighed in at.... 77g...!!
Took a look inside, photo attached.
Looks like they replaced the PSU with an inadequate DC-DC convertor, and a few other changes.
The replacement, "fake" one didn't cost any less than the "real", Elitech one, so just beware if buying...
