STC-1000 settings for kegerator

Hi all - having just had my kegerator with a faulty relay repaired I want to make sure my STC-1000 settings are reasonable.

What do people use for the Return Difference (F2) and Compressor Delay Time (F3)? I currently have these set to 0.5C and 2 mins respectively.

Also do people do anything to insulate the temperature probe to reduce its sensitivity to sudden temperature changes, eg when the door is opened?

I have an inkbird, but parameters are 0.5° differential and 10 minute compressor delay. Means it's only cycling on and off a few times during the day (although it is a keezer, may be slightly different with a kegerator).

My probe is placed in a big bottle of starsan.
