So, I need some more black IPA, and Stone released a vague recipe description for this popular brew:

So, here's mine, scaled for my 22L mash tun:

Brew Method: BIAB
Style Name: American IPA
Boil Time: 60 min
Batch Size: 16.5 liters (fermentor volume)
Boil Size: 20 liters
Boil Gravity: 1.068
Efficiency: 65% (brew house)

STATS:
Original Gravity: 1.082
Final Gravity: 1.019
ABV (standard): 8.31%
IBU (tinseth): 92.66
SRM (morey): 35.73

FERMENTABLES:
6 kg - United Kingdom - Maris Otter Pale (89.8%)
0.34 kg - United Kingdom - Crystal 60L (5.1%)
0.34 kg - German - De-Husked Carafa III (5.1%)

HOPS:
30 g - Chinook, Type: Leaf/Whole, AA: 13, Use: First Wort, IBU: 28.11
50 g - Amarillo, Type: Leaf/Whole, AA: 8.6, Use: Whirlpool for 20 min at 90 °C, IBU: 26.06
50 g - Simcoe, Type: Leaf/Whole, AA: 12.7, Use: Whirlpool for 10 min at 90 °C, IBU: 38.49
50 g - Amarillo, Type: Leaf/Whole, AA: 8.6, Use: Dry Hop for 7 days
50 g - Simcoe, Type: Leaf/Whole, AA: 12.7, Use: Dry Hop for 7 days

MASH GUIDELINES:
1) Temperature, Temp: 66 C, Time: 60 min, Amount: 17 L

YEAST:
Fermentis / Safale - English Ale Yeast S-04



Ingredients on order for a brew next week some time, so I have time to adjust if necessary. Going to try S-04 for the first time. I don't think the yeast flavour will be particularly up-front in this one...
