I'd like to think this is a cider but in theory it'll top out around 13% so probably shouldn't be drunk in a pint glass.

4 litres The Grower's Harvest Apple Juice
2 1lb Jars of Stockwell & Co Strawberry Jame
1 Lime cut into 8ths
1 Handful of sultanas
1 tsp Wilko express wine yeast compound

Add to a 5 litre container and shake.
No og taken as there's about an inch of strawberry jam sat in the bottom of the container, so no way it'd be accurate.

My aim was to make something cheap and hopefully tasty from Tesco items, ignoring the sultanas and yeast the other ingredients are just over £3. So obviously I realize this may hazy from pectin, but I doubt anyone other than myself and the missus will be drinking it.

I'll ferment till dry and probably add sweeteners to taste.

I had kind of forgotten about this post. Personally I quite enjoyed it, though too much apple flavour for the missus' taste.

I tried a second batch using half the amount of juice and topped up with water which she found more palatable.

Why have I returned to this? Well I was thinking of trying to make another batch using red grape juice maybe instead of or along with the apple juice.
