I’m either brewing the Golden Ale or a Hefeweizen On Saturday, It’ll depend on which yeast needs used first.
I’ve pretty much settled on the Golden Ale recipe I going to brew.
50% Pale malt, 35% Marris Otter, 15% Wheat Malt. Total of 35IBU of First Gold at various points during the boil, Wyeast 1318 London Ale III. Shooting for an OG of around 1.040.
I kegged my Golden Ale last Thursday. Needs a bit more time to finish conditioning and carbonating but it's promising so far. The UK-grown Chinook hops have given it a nice floral, citrus and pine character.
Might get in on this if it remains open to all... Just ordered the needful for a Golden Ale, although my guesswork at a grain bill has push the EBC a smidge over what Brewfather says.... CML Atlantic, Admiral and Harlequin hops for me.
