I started a Simply Bitter kit on Sunday, it's now Wednesday and the gravity reading is 1.01 already, starting at 1.048. Planning n leaving it at least a week but was very surprised it has got so low so quickly. I normally don't check until at least a week has passed but checked the cider I put on as well.
The bitter kit was out of date and decided to try it with the yeast that came with it so wasn't expecting much, certainly not such a quick ferment!
Will see what happens with it in time.
