Hi

As a borderline non-drinker this may be an odd hobby to take up, but it used to be fun when I did it when still at school. The chemistry teacher wanted us to make orange wine.

I think I'll be doing more wine kits than wild berries, some beers and some Kombucha. Is it as healthy as they say it is?

The kit prices have gone up since the days of Boots brew kits but they tend to be bigger and I hope the quality has also improved.

Thanks for the kit info.
Don't worry Banbeer, I'm not passed the tipping point yet. Good first brews may help sway the case.

Welcome to the slippery slope JulesW. It was my chemistry teacher, too. who put me squarely on the road to ruin. At least I paid attention in some classes.

I also started with Boots kits in the early 80's and then stopped for nearly 30 years. I also used to buy Boots cassette tapes.
