Hello,
Just want to thank the helpful folk of this forum who helped me with my first brew. It turned out surprisingly successful with the guidance I got.

Cheers!
You shouldn't have been surprised that it turned out well. If anything, be surprised that brewing beer better than a lot you can buy in pubs and supermarkets isn't that difficult.

I made a stout firstly (and IPA shortly after).
Have now got about 70 pints to get through!
Plan to do a belgian or barley wine when I have stuff to store it in!
"70 pints", That's a big batch to start on.

Are you bottling, or kegging/ barreling?
I like many members have made the switch from bottling to kegging recently and now have hundreds of bottles that I will never use again. If there's someone in the same situation, local to, I'm sure you could pick up as many bottles as you might need.

Haha, thanks.
I put the first one (stout) in a pressure barrel. Then brewed a backup beer (IPA), which is now in a variety of bottles!
