Post here for all things Grape Vine related!

First tip - now is the time to prune!! Take last year's canes back to two buds - and you'll be able to rub out the least powerful come spring.
 
I got the advice to not prune too soon, because of the possibility that the vines would start shooting too early, with the chance of getting frozen in February or March.

The last couple of years I only pruned at the end of February. Got a very good harvest in 2020, made 8 litre of wine from it.

Harvest 2021 was bad, not enough sun, too much rain. Had to let them hang for the birds.
