Yep. Really odd flavour - a bit like fishy chicken. That's why the dogs had it! They didn't seem to mind too much!!!
 
Chicken and reptiles have the same ancestors and during the Middle Ages you could eat chicken on a Friday as it wasn't classed as meat. That is f you weren't a peasant.

Nothing wrong with the pickled beetroot and pickled cucumber in a burger.athumb..
Never eaten the potatoes and gravy, just doesn't look right, the potatoes look more fluid than the gravy.
 
I used to have tripe regularly when I was younger. Anyone else like tripe?
Love tripe but has to be slowly cooked with milk and onions, full of minerals is tripe, a heart warming winter dish.
Working on a mine site in Indonesia, I complained to the kitchen we should be having more curries, and liver. The chefs were Indonesian, a few nights later I got curried liver.:(
