Pitched cml no1 on friday og 1048 just took a sample because it stopped 1004 surely this is not right

Ditto. I pitched a packet of CML Kveik at about 14:00 on Friday and by 18:00 bubbling away like good one at 30C, slowed now but not stopped, so I think you're correct a 2 day fermentation.

Been questioning my hydrometer recently aswell, the parti-gyle bitter I fermented went to 1,006 not convinced...

I tried 2 both at 20c both gave same reading, this yeast is a beast
