Hi. Does anyone have a recipe for Timothy Taylor’s Porter (not Poulters Porter, just the regular one)
Its my Dad’s favourite and it’s now only brewed to order, so I’d like to have a crack myself.

Roger Protz, Real Ale Almanac, 5th edition, 1997

Timothy Taylor and Co Ltd
Porter OG 1041 abv 3.8%
Ingredients: Golden Promise barley malt 100%, sugar 10%, caramel 1% 80 units of colour, Teme Valley Fuggles, Teme Valley and Kent Goldings and Styrian Goldings whole hops.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Sweetish aroma with light hop
Palate: Soft hops, roasted grain and nuts in the mouth, dry finish with chocolate notes.
Comments: Occasional creamy beer, not in the true porter style.

My comments: I'm surprised that bit of caramel gives all those flavours he mentions! No IBUs mentioned. Good luck.
