    Turbo ciders tasted today :)

Only my third and fourth brews ever.

Apple and elderflower TC made with Aldi apple and elderflower 4L
350g sugar / some 3bag tea / 1 heaped teaspoon-ish Young’s super wine yeast compound + 1 teaspoon yeast nutrient. Came out at around 6 ABV. It looked like it had stuck partway through , so was re-pitched with yeast and 100g sugar.

Verdict - Ended sweet but had naturally cleared. Very elderflower, will be lovely chilled I reckon.

Bog standard apple TC made with 4L Aldi from concentrate Apple
    250g sugar / some 3bag tea / 1 heaped teaspoon-ish Young’s super wine yeast compound + 1 teaspoon yeast nutrient
Came out at around 8.5 ABV.

Verdict - Finished dry. Not a lot of flavour but drinkable and pleasant enough.

Will post a picture shortly !

Skip the sugar and sub in 1/2 l something like cranberry or blueberry. Straight AJ lacks flavour, needs a bit of something to fill it out, if you're not going for MLF.
