Hi there,

Having been brewing cider for a year, I am getting cocky and want to try a white wine kit. We are Chardonnay fans, and, as wine kits tend to be pricey, I was hoping for some recommendations from the high court judges out there, before I take the plunge.

So, what have you tried and what has worked, please? I have seen some favourable comments about Winexpert and Winebuddy, for example.

Cheers

Hi Johnny you could try a few 6 bottle kit to see how that works for you as they are about same price as a cider kit.

I started wine with the 6 bottle Beaverdale Chardonnay which worked outwell.

I then went for their Red Merlot in 30 bottles which was pretty decent.

I then went back to white & spent a little more on the Winexpert Pinot Gregio which is the best wine so far. These kits have more juice than the Beaverdale kits and do feel a bit more premium all round.

Ive gone again for a red again with the Wineexpert Chilean Malbec...fingers crossed.
