I know TS pointed me in the direction of one of his beers, but I can't find the post so yet again, I'm reviewing a beer blind  (I do suspect that it is Marital Bliss though)
First off I was delighted to recieve a 660ml bottle through the post not like the more miserly 500ml bottles that I usually get  Although having seen the cost of postage I know its unlikely that I will be sending such large bottle out
Beer poured well form the bottle and had adequate carbonation. . . . There was a rising bead evident in the bottle, but as it had been bottled from the corny there was no yeast sediment to disturb. Head formation was low, and short lived . . . even using a beer engine to knock excess CO2 out of the beer resulted in a good but short lived head.
Initial aroma was of a malty beer with little hop coming through and a slight fruitiness, and this was backed up on initial tasting, a big malt profile with little bitterness, which slowly developed and has a reasonable length finish. This is a beer packed full of flavours (toffee and a hint of apple, with a slight anise) and one I am enjoying with some pleasure. Considering that I was asked to identify a 'house flavour' possibly through over sparging I am surprised at the quality . . . I can say though that I don't think that is the case with this beer, while it has a dry finish it is not astringent . . . which is like sucking on a used tea bag . . . try it and you'll understand what I mean . . . I have been getting a whiff of something not pleasant as I dip back into the glass. . . . Possibly sulphur or Butyric acid which could indicate a low level infection, but I'm discounting that as there is little in the taste to back it up. I am also picking a faint aroma of burnt toast.
This is a very complex beer, malty with a low bitterness, packed full of flavours, that I could sit and analyse for a long time, but there is very little wrong with it
