Hi guys!
How’s it going?
First post, apologies if this has been done before.
Cider kit and fruit question.

I am new to the home brewing game, and after a couple of successful lagers and IPAs, I wanted to try a cider in the 25 litre fermentation bucket.

I have a cider kit, which looks straight forward enough. However, I have a pear tree in the garden, and I was looking to use fruit with the kit brew.

Is this possible?

My concern will be the sugar content of both brewing sugar in the kit, and the natural sugars causing issue.

Anybody done this before?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Have a great day 👍

I imagine its possible (i don't make cider) but i would make it as per instructions the first time so as you have something to compare your pimped version to. thumb.
