Hi all,

I've been brewing wine kits for quite a few years now, and have always used starsan to sanitise the wine bottles prior to bottling. Is this an OK thing to do? I've never had an issue with the taste but I seem to remember reading somewhere that the phosphates in the starsan aren't the best for wine. I have some potassium metabisulfite I was thinking about using this time, would that be a better choice?

Thanks

I always use linky they're cheap enough that I can used 1/2 a tab per bottle or so (overkill I know), followed up by a rinse out

I have used Milton tablets for 8 years for all my gear (2 to a washing up bowl of water)
For the wine bottles i put a little in each bottle then screw the top on and shake, shake again at 8 minutes at 15 they are done, no rinse required.
