Hello,
I am a newbie and just brewed my first ever batch of cider using a Brewmaker Cider de Luxe kit.
I have followed the instructions to the letter and original SG was 1.038 and final is 1.004.
Colour is good and it's cleared pretty well but tastes watery.
Will the taste improve if I prime and bottle it, and leave it for a week or so or do I need to add something like apple juice or honey to give it some taste?
Many thanks for your help.

What do the instructions suggest? It needs packaging...bottle or keg or it'll spoil..and it needs priming unless you want a still cider..but I don't know about that. After priming it'll need to go somewhere warm for at least two weeks for the priming to work and carbonate your cider, then it's best moved to somewhere cool for it to condition.

Hi scrufts if you want a better cider you can do a lot worse than trying some of the turbo cider recipes on here. Better than a lot of the kits mate 👍
