Just a little taster of my Dunkelweizen. Three days in the bottle but carbing up nicely.

As always with a green beer there's all manner of flavours going on that may not hang around over the next couple of weeks. Not a lot of aroma at this point. There is rich toffee pudding taste with a good hint of alcohol and prunes. A biscuity after-taste with a little dryness at the end.

I do hope the toffee and prunes persist. This is a very moreish first taste.

AIPA.. juicy fruit!
Mrs Clint has just returned from her emporium...passivated with tea and home made carrot cake...back to the garden for me...

Having the second of the bargain bin espresso martini tins I bought and again its pretty darn good. I also was tempted to reactivate my beer52 account the other day cos they offered me 8 beers for £12. I'm not terribly excited by the selection, although the 6.4% IPA might be interesting.

1st up Citra single hop from Vocation. Citrus , tropical stunner. So bright this hop shines. A great beer to showcase all that is wanted from Citra. Well made beer medium mouthfeel perfect carbonation. Aroma is massive , smooth & well drinkable for 6.7% abv. Simcoe next !

Simcoe single hop showcase by Vocation. Fantastic ! This hop is so full & rounded compared to the Citra release. Feels slightly bigger on the mouthfeel. Stone fruits really shine. Easy to drink at 6.7% , these guys really know how to brew.
