A Westmalle Tripel today to Christen my new glass. Accompanied with some Gouda, takes me back to Amsterdam where I first tried Tripel (then dubbel, quad etc...). View attachment 29236

Just had a glass of Red Baron. @the baron shared his recipe for rye beer round about the beginning of the year. I made it there and then and by May, it had still not carbonated. My fault, not the Baron's. Well, it's carbonated now and it's a lovely drop. Thanks for the recipe.

Anybody seen the Baron? Haven't seen a post of his for ages?

Not at all, @the baron published it publicly so I can't see that he'd object. I'll post it in the morning as I've got a bit of a stagger on since it's The Wise One's birthday.

Aramis is very much like a traditional English aroma hop. If I had to, I could substitute it for Goldings in a recipe.
