A366BAA4-4D53-449D-A65B-587E51842E58.jpeg Church Hanbrewary Czar Bomba Russian Imperial Stout (9.9%) it’s very smooth with a sweet after taste goes down extremely easily which is a tad worrying for a 9.9% beer.

Well 10 days in the keg my Citra galaxy mosaic pale brewed with oats & 300gm of hops for a 21ltr batch. Has wheat dme as well as ldme nice viscous , wonderfully hazy body & incredible tropical fruit on the nose & taste. Just under £1 per litre so an expensive brew but worth it for an extract mini mash tweak. Bring on the rugby !

Not so much what im drinking tonight, but what i was drinking last night my tweaked geordie mild. Also got my eldest lad on homebrew. The lad usually wont touch homebrew (he drinks carling ) persuaded him to try my all grain weissbier and he liked it that much he drank his way through all my remaining bottles:beer1:. Not sure if im happy about him enjoying it so much or annoyed that he drank all my stash :laugh8: still a good excuse to get brewing a new batchathumb..

Early start ! Thought I was eager athumb..acheers.

Oxford covered market has a nano pub/bottle shop that refills growlers so tend to go their on a Saturday morning and buy some good bread and cheese in the market and get my growler filled (and of course I need to try a couple to see what to fill it with). Though as nice as the imperial stout was I had to go for something a bit lighter, as not sure if I would want 900ml of it. So Little Ox Hufflepuff a rather nice 3.8% session pale ale for me tonight.

My Saison and several 330ml's from Aldi - could be a long night especially once the youtube music is on

I kegged my 15 Minute Mosaic Pale Ale tonight it is already rather drinkable (had three weeks in the fermentor which may of helped, but with the low temperatures we’ve being having it took about two weeks to fully ferment out. It was a fifteen minute boil with just pale LME and mosaic hops. Assuming it still tases good in a few weeks I will certainly be trying this again as should make a nice summer beer.E314D771-5CFE-4AF5-9194-613083864E62.jpeg

I’m on my Sarah Hughes Ruby Mild clone went down nicely with roast pork, sadly the keg is almost empty so will need to brew some more of it soon.

Another cracking beer from 8 Degrees, fruity and resiny hops with plenty of body. Is it still technically a single malt beer though if there's wheat listed in the ingredients?
