Normally on a Friday I would head to my local pub but with the weather being so miserable decided to stay home and have a pint of my session bitter (3.5%) is a nice refreshing session beer.

Cwtch kit then was donated by Mrs Muntons at Brewcon. Initially this tasted weird

, odd metallic taste. Had previously had this kit as a present and really enjoyed it..this attempt was not. But 3 months later the off flavour has mellowed...maybe 6 months later will be even better

Tried my first kegged pale - Sierra Nevada Pale clone - I'm sold on kegs and beers tastes very good.
Now on my first ever belgian style Saison, brewed by myself - but never drank one from Belgium either - me like it

After a couple of disappointing home brews last weekend I have revisited some of my better attempts tonight - Czech Pilsner, Mandarina Bavaria Wheat and ESB from GH. This has rekindled my faith in my brewing...

Few tasty brews tonight followed by a left brain ipa kit in glass . Have to say aroma from the kinnegar is like having hops in your hand and taste is whopper

I’m in France at the moment. Sadly no exotic duvel varieties in superU but I’d not had this 10% beast before. Going down too well.

My Saison which has changed in flavour since first brewed, now like a slightly funky lager
