Me and Mrs C Enjoyed a couple of samples from my split batch experiment.
Tried the 15 and 20+degC Notty and the 20+degC S04.
She could tell the difference between the two Notty brews but didn't know why. For the same weight of hops the 20+ with EKG was more flavoursome than the 15 with Saaz. She liked the clean yeast profile and Saaz, I liked the more characterful 20+ with EKG.
*20+ means I was supposed to ferment at 20degC but it got up to 22 at times.
I enjoyed a pint of the S04 on its own. A bit more character than the the Notty but there's something more tongue-numbing about the S04, it's just a bit more average.
