Couple of bland ales courtesy of flavourly, both tasted very similar.

Funny thing, first one is a session ale but because it was so watery I drank it like water and so it's hit all at once

I have a few lined up to send in return. I am really enjoying the Saison with hallertau Blanc. I have a Belgian pale cold crashing that I added the dregs from a couple bottles of Orval
I can kind of picture a Saison with H. Blanc in my mind. Theory being a bit of fruit to balance out the spicy yeast?

I never appreciated H. Blanc in a larger and have used Renata for bittering. Did I not give it a chance?

Nothing wrong with an ice cold peroni in the summer, probably the only "lager" worth drinking in a pub imo.

Tried my recent wheat beer but I'm getting an onion flavour from it, must be the hops I'm guessing? Never had that before, not great!

Then onto something else from the delivery box, Jester and Olicana, a fair bit better than last night's picks
