Yes it is noticeable that there is no SRM, doesn't help if the beer has never been sited, I Google images to try and gauge the colour.

Ive had a couple pints of Hoynes " Dark Matter" at my local, but thought I would finish the evening with a pint of TC.

Tetley Bitter clone, still not sure on the colour, and I can taste the small amount of chocolate malt, evened out a lot since the first taste a week or so ago.

Early sample of my Belgian strong dark ale. It's too sweet for my taste (as I've documented elsewhere) but with the carbonic bite from the c02 and a good level of bitterness it is actually very enjoyable! Might need to try harder with the photography....:laugh8:

ESB/IPA I made last month. It kind of spans the two styles.

    All the Best,

Pretty close but ABV only 7% but taste is really good but need a few more months. My BHE has improved since I made this , I now get 68% by batch sparging. So hopefully next time I make it will be nearer 8%.

Courage Directors kit I made with Morrisons bottled water and it's good no twang. We drove down from Warrington to Brixham today and I am trying the first sample made with bottled water. I can't do AG here so use kits and they have been crap. Really pleased with the Directors.

I’ve just sampled this and to my amazement it is actually bottle conditioned there is sediment in the bottom of the bottle, a little lighter in colour and taste compared to pedigree from the pump but well done Marston’s

If you are thinking of using the yeast, be aware that more often than not the yeast in the bottle is different to the actual yeast that fermented the beer, often it is a dry yeast they add.

This rather lovely Belgian blonde. Simple but elegant and delightful.

God bless Children in need, which is traditionally a girl's night in for the lonely Mrs and our super kids.

In an act of complete selflessness, I am in the pub getting smashed on Bateman's Lincolnshire Best Bitter. I love this stuff, wish they would make it a permanent beer rather than a special.
