You see, that's exactly why they are screwed. I used to buy m&s pants - well, 'trunks'. Loved them, and wouldn' thank you for a pair of Calvin Klein's. But these days, you can get just as good pants from peacocks, for a half the price, and the quality is just as good.

I also noticed a lovely old second hand bookshop (very olde worlde),that I pass on my commute in Wimbledon, is now closed down, . S'pose they cant compete with the likes of Amazon

I was gutted when our Woolworths closed being a small town it was always busy but I guess in towns with competition they couldn't compete.
