I make a little wine now and again, always from kits. I'm not usually moved to leave a review, but I'm really pleased how this one turned out.
It's cleared nicely, and a pleasing light red colour. I don't bottle anymore, I use 5 litre bags in boxes, I bagged this, this morning and thought I'd try a glass.
Wow! Before I had the glass to my lips I could smell an intense sweet grape smell. It has a nice sweetish fruity, grapey flavour, with a not too dry finish.
I'm not a wine drinker or an expert taster by any stretch, but this tastes like it could have been bought in a bottle from sainsbury's.
In short, I'll buy this again (when it's in a sale). Very pleased.
