I've always fancied one of their wide necked fermenters, they look sturdy but some reviews complain of leaky taps?

Thanks for heads up, just bough Thirsty Devil, no high expectation, just want to check it out. Will be using 1kg of brew enhancer and see how it goes.

Picked up a Wherry.. Got the last one in my store as the other box had been opened and the yeast taken/stolen. Noticed the same thing happening in B&M last year though the Myob boxes were easier to detect tampering.

    Offer ends Wednesday 4th December.

Anyone who has bought a Wherry kit within the last three days expecting it to be ready for Xmas is maybe being a tad optimistic. It needs at least 10 days in the FV and another 7-10 days to carb up. Furthermore Wherry yeast, unless its changed, takes ages to settle out and even if it didn't the beer itself needs about 6 weeks to condition before it comes good. So you are unlikely to be enjoying it at its best when Santa pops in.
