Some years ago we bought 10 litre bladders in a cardboard box which was mainly red in colour. The material of the bladder was (and still is) pretty tough stuff. We paid I think some 10 years ago £8 ish for them.

On looking for more I am seeing white or brown cardboard outers and the bladders are being described as usable 5 or 6 times only and the price is circa £3.

Are these cheaper ones as tough as the old ones or are the heavy duty ones we have no longer made??

Any comments very welcome.

Can't comment on the older ones.
I've only reused the ones that I've got a couple of times but but they're cheap enough to replace if/when then do finally expire

Cheers. Tom

Being a bit of an old cynic i would say if they said they lasted for life they would have no repeat buyers. wink...

Search vinotainers, the ones I bought a few years ago were pretty sturdy and I think they are still made from the same stuff.
