After a couple of years of lying in a cupboard I finally bit the bullet and made a Wine Buddy 30 bottle kit reducing it to 15l (20 bottles)...As I say it was past sell by date but assumed it would work ok.
I made it on wednesday night and added the yeast/nutrient and oak chips before placing the lid to ferment.
48 hours later not a dickie bird nothing.
Bo bubbles in airlock..no sign of activity on surface of wine..just a still mass of red liquid with clumps of oak chips...Any ideas what I can do to try retreave the situation? Tyvm
