Delivered this morning, got it going at 15:00, first bubble at 18:00. Read some good reviews. Instructions say add hops after 4 days? Has anyone got any advice. I'm going to batch prime but I only have dextrose, again instructions say half teaspoon for bottles, no more than 100g for keg. I've done a festival summer glory and liked the level of Carbination but can't remember the amount of priming sugar that it had and whether it was dexstroxeor or not. Is dextrose OK to prime/carbonate or is there something better?

dextrose or table sugar are both fine for priming. For a forty-pint kit 90g is about right. If you like hoppy beers I'd wait. The instructions are always optimistic on the timings. If you leave it in the FV until the SG is steady you can add the hops and then leave it another three or four days. Or hop on day ten and assume it will be 'done' by day fourteen.
