Here is my take on the wychwood wych's
First off the White Wych nice hiss from the bottle and an easy pour did not give to big a head which can happen all to often with wychwood brews. Good looking clear beer and way to drinkable nice hop aroma and after taste plesant and mellow would be the best way to describe it. Lots of body and easy to drink carbonation just right.
Next Black Wych nice hiss on opening but the pour is dreadfull had to pour this one in three goes as it just forms a glass of foam even when pouring carefully down the side of the glass. very dark colour well it is a stout after all unfortunatley the head all but dissapears after a few min sat in the glass as for taste sharp liqurish taste very plesant but way to gassy it prickles your tounge it also feels watery no body to the brew at all which is a shame. The lack of body could make this a very fast drinking beer but it is way over carbonated.
These are just my observations on the two brewery beers I happen to have bought just to remind myself what the big brewerys push out. I know I cant use the bottles with out having a bench capper which is on the ever growing list of things I have to get / do but I shall keep them for the future.
