I've watched my share of airlocks, sometimes at 4am, using a flashlight.
OCD, Paranoia or both?
Must admit I have woken up in the early hours with that on my mind.
Especially if I'm not sure I left the vent tap open........... Or closed!
Especially as I use polypins to ferment in (see my what did you brew today" post).
