Credit to Dorst for the idea...

If you’re in lockdown with one bottle of scotch what would it be?

I am currently stuck with a bottle of Balvenie Double Wood and a bottle of Macallan Gold. If I had to choose one it would probably be the Balvenie, it’s like honey!

Before I saw the first comment it was the Balvenie from me

Lagavullin for me
Oh I love that one, my dad had some at Christmas.
I like that Laphroiag as well, sadly my Christmas bottle ran out.
For me it would probably be Laphroiag because I think it’s easier to get hold of and a reasonable price.

At any rate it would be something peaty and/or smokey.

Doesnt come close for me but I agree if in a budget...Lagavullin never ever seems discounted and at typically around 45 quid is a bit more pricey. Would love to go Islay and see the distillery.

Balvanie Double Wood most likely. It's the whisky that got me into the world of whisky and will always be No.1.

Failing that Glenfarclas 105.

Highland Park 30 year old

...someone else is buying it for me right?
