Hey everyone,
I've tried my best researching on my iPad but I'm struggling so thought I'd just ask the question. What's the best way of doing a milestone black pearl so as to be dispensed from a corne keg?
Ie: do you not bother priming with fermentable's as you would in a plastic barrel for secondary?
As I understand after first ferment id transfer to barrel to clear for a couple of weeks then transfer to corne keg and pressurise with co2 or nitrogen? Also how long and what pressure for a stout?
Sorry for the 99 questions it's my first post and as mentioned iPad is driving me crackers navigating the site.
Thanks in advance Oli:thumb:

Hey Patch,
Thanks for your speedy response, that's very helpful. So the level of carbonation I'd imagine is directly linked to how many days you keep your brew under high pressure co2/nitrogen?
I'd be as we'll to leave it 24hrs, purge the keg and drop pressure to around 6 psi and give it a test?

Hi have American cornys and need to change the poppeTs- does anyone know what size the 12 point hex on the gas inlet is please?

I was researching just this the other day the following video[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEMxBPxb1vE"]video[/ame] tells you all you need to know, good luck and let us all know how you get along.

Well I Hope next week I'll be kegging milestone black Pearl. I've got guinness faucet, corne, pure co2, 30/70 mix and regulators.
Just need to pick up a fridge Saturday to turn into a kegorator and purchase around 10ft of 3/16" beer line i can trim to balance right.
Grand total around £150 INC ale EXC fridge
