    40 pints one tin

I have an engine drip tray too, but I'm not going to be putting beer near my engine bay. As for floor boards i think I have a very differently outfitted internal living area. For example I have a large shower tray and a drain like a normal house show, but it has a pump so it can pump the...

    40 pints one tin

I can understand your concerns, but not the bilges part honestly. The only liquid that goes into the bilges on my boat is water that falls into the engine bay, drips from the prop or from my slightly leaky weed-hatch that needs sorting at some point. If you're talking about where it might go if...

    40 pints one tin

Question professionally avoided there. I'm planning on brewing on a canal boat so still awaiting why you think that is a bad idea. Pigs, now that's odd

    40 pints one tin

I've met a boater that doesn't have any problems brewing on board, in fact they earned a living from it. why do you think it would be a disaster? My dad is trying a 40 pint tin of pilsner brewed to 20 pints so we shall see if it's too bitter. I really do like bitter beers so might enjoy them...

    40 pints one tin

Probably a misleading title, but I noticed the 1.5kg one tin kits are the same weight as each tin in the two tin kits, for the same 40pint volume. I've moved onto a narrow boat and so I am very, very short on space. If I bought a 20 pint bin, which is tiny, in comparison, and brewed a one tin...

    How hop do I hop?

Hop bag is a must in future. Completely forgot. Next time!!! Yeah that's why I wanted to do the dry hopping in two stages. But I wasn't going to ask my busy dad to weight hops and add at the correct timings since he didn't even stir it. Appalling hop extraction. Fingers crossed anyway...

    How hop do I hop?

Yeah words are hard. I'll rewrite it. Dry hopped for 48 hours in the end. I got my dad to do it, I'm pretty sure he did a funny job of it, but at least it will be sterile.

    How hop do I hop?

I did a rough Linocut for a label since I was hanging around at the wood fair.

    How hop do I hop?

Well the gravity settled a day or so ago and thus commenced the dry hopping then, and then bottled after 48hours ish. It has a really decent aroma, not quite where I want it to be but we shall see what it's like when conditioned. Bitterness is right on the money. Really good there. Plenty of...

    How hop do I hop?

I'm a bit too lazy to google 10 times for one recipe.. Thanks clibit. I might dry hop in two stages, as I would like to get the most out of the varying flavours and also achieve that aroma. Sound like a plan?

    How hop do I hop?

OK, I'm not sure about temperature calibrations but I pitched at roughly 24C, and my OG is 1052 (i think), according to a quick google that gives me about 5.6% (im happy with that) When do I want to dry hop? I plan on doing it for about 3-5 days. In a week? 2? When gravity stops changing...

    How hop do I hop?

Absolutely, will do! Thanks I'm not sure if I'll start bottling in glass with caps yet, I think I'll stick to me and my fathers tried and test 2litre bottles. ^^
