    Thanks, that's exactly what I'm saying, my old local saved a few bin bags of bottles out the back. I just picked them up threw out the chipped ones, washed them, sterilised them bish bash bosh

    A few years back (4-5) I picked up approx 100 brown bottles from a local pub cleaned then took the labels off etc... Free! I'm trying to convince a friend he should try the same. Please contribute if you think it's a good shout, have you done the same?

    Thanks guys for settling those points. Yeah it was brewing bucket lid when brewing a mix I was referring to. Can't wait to get it on now. Just sampling a neighbours pale ale :D

    Quick one. I have a John Bull Traditional and Woodfordes Wherry about to go on. The Wherry says I need no sugar other than a prime on bottling is this right? If I need sugar what should I add? What are people's thoughts on lids? On or off? Thanks

    I have discover that Koppaberg labels come off like a dream, Can't say the same for Cabbies bottles..... I'll let you know how I get with capping them
