Hi all. Hope this is in the right discussion.
I'm a big fan of the Vocation Double Tonka Frappe, cans in some supermarkets. It's an 8% Stout. It's bordering on sweet - lactose or vanilla too? plus a good punch of coffee and tonka. Has anyone had a go at a clone for this?
I'm waiting on my first brew now, it's at 2ndary fermentation stage. The GF is a whole new system to learn. Then I can adapt it to what works for me. 1st brew went very well, other than a few minor issues that I'll iron out in future brews
Ha, not really. I've done lots of all grain & half mash brews over the years, but in low tech kit - a kettle type bucket & large pans. The GF requires me to learn the system, but temperature & timing are much easier now. Thanks
Hi all! Newbie here to this group. I've been brewing at home for many years, from kits through to all grain. Recently joined the modern era, with a Grainfather, & some new equipment that I'm just getting my head around. Look forward to homebrew discussion
