Hi all, am just getting all my gear together to start on yeast slants, everythings on its way so will be able to start soon, what i'm not clear on is do i need petri dishes to start off or do i innoculate slants from say a known decent source of yeast? if i should get petri dishes what are best...

Hi all, was asked to make 2 ag brews for my friends 70th birthday, a london pride & a ruddles, have done about 50 ag brews so far with great results, anyhow first one, the london pride went well, 2 weeks in fermenter, checked fg stuck @ 1.020, gave it a stir checked 3 days later still 1.020...

Hi all, just doing a Youngs special from GW book, it says to dry hop with Target hops, yet earlier in the book it says to only use a good aroma hop for dry hoping, as Target are a bittering hop i'm a little confused any thoughts? :wha: johnluc

thanks for all of your replies,found plenty on web but delivery charges make things that much dearer especially if i have to keep going back to them for refills etc, hard to find locally here as only licenced tabac's sell smoking stuff can't just pop in to local garage or supermarket for smoking...
