Things I've seen when riding my bike

Do you have a source for this? I'd wager that more accidents involving cyclists is down to lack of care from motorists and dangerous driving. I'm not defending all cyclists, btw, but the numbers of careless cyclists is so insignificant that it shouldn't be used to create a victim-blaming...

Things I've seen when riding my bike

Some of my gear is high-viz, some of it isn't. I like to be able to chose and not have it prescribed, and then be blamed if a driver doesn't pay due care and attention.

Things I've seen when riding my bike

Got nothing against cyclists wearing hi-viz, I do it myself. However, I do have a problem with people blaming cyclists if they aren't wearing it, when there's little to suggest it actually makes a quantifiable difference.

    Beer and Food ?

I'm a huge fan of food and beer pairing. Saisons are always a great place to start - the dry funky and spicy flavours go with a whole range of foods, from a sunday roast to a thai green curry. A couple of other favourite pairings are: Kriek & a chocolate brownie American Brown and a chilli...

You're probably right and no lights is just plain stupid. However talking about clothing is too close to victim blaming for me to ignore.

...and yes, if you drive into the back of someone then it is your fault!

There's no law that dictates what cyclists need to wear :laugh8:

Oatmeal Chocolate Milk Stout (Brann's Breakfast Stout)

If you're chucking ground coffee in, how do you then filter it out?

Loads of breweries don't bother with barcodes.

    What are you drinking tonight?

Had these two last night. The Effra was delicious. Sweet malty British amber base with a zing of grapefruit and pine from a load of American hops. Not too in-you-face, in fact really well balanced. The Hobsons beer was a strange one. Hobsons made a barley wash for nearby Chase Distillery to...

Centennial will give you your classic west coast USA hop flavours. Pine, grapefruit, resin, citrus.

    Fake craft beer company sued

Craft is a defined term in the US. It's breweries that produce under a certain amount of beer per year (although this has been changed more than once to keep breweries such as Sierra Nevada under the craft umbrella as they expand) and aren't wholly owned by another company. Not applicable or...

    Venting Mini Kegs

Looks like Adnams are suggesting leaving the vent open for that first 24 hours. Not sure if that would make a difference?

    Commercial IPAs

Not a bad beer amongst that lot. Eternal, especially, is such a good Session IPA.

    Commercial IPAs

I suppose being in the Beatles was "just a job" too? I think I'm going to need you to point out some of this "hipster wankery" and "artisan bull****" that these breweries are peddling, because from where I'm sitting, paying £2.50 for a can of Cannonball screams amazing value to me...
