A good old Bass. Cheap and I like the bottle. The beer is OK and at least gives a glimpse of how beer once was.

Er FAKE Proper Job!

Just tried Aldi's face Proper Job. Not that similar but not bad in its own way and not bottle conditioned so can be chilled lying flat (the beer!)

Now a Titseys Gresham Hopper. Not bad but wish it were a Shepherd Neame beer!

In the Three Daws at Gravesend with an Edmonton Best Bitter but a bit sweet

Now a Gadd's Green Hop Ale at our friend's house.

Just been to the Potting Shed at Hythe and had a Titsey's Californian Spring. Not bad at all.

On the Kent leg of the southern tour. Not seen a good Shepherd Neame pub so had a Young's Bitter. Not as good as in the drayhorse days but maybe I am too old!

Just left Sussex on the southern tour where it would been sacrilege not to have a Harveys Best Bitter!

Now at table with a Butcombe Rare Breed. Nice and well balanced.

On a tour daahn saaf currently at the Ibex Inn at Chaddleworth West Berks so a nice flat fruity southern pint!

Back in Wales and this was a Conwy American West Coast Pale Ale.
