    Evening all. So ive just bottled loads of cider and pressed another 10lts. Done this press totally natural. Not adding anything at all! This leaves me with 6 empty demis which i don't like haha. Going to nip down to Lidl tomorrow and get some apple juice. I already have a few cider yeast...

    Cider fail :-(

    Hi all. Right so in the end i bottled it last night. Added one drop of liquid sweetner to each bottle and will leave then capped to mature now. I also did some with wilko carbonating tablets in, which i found really good last year to add the fizz and a little sweetness. As for tonight well...

    Thanks for the advice guys. Would you leave them in the demis or bottle them.up so their sealed up? I did Campden them the other night so they should of 'stopped' as such....

    Carbonation and cider

    With my cider brews i webt to Wilko and got some fizz drops. Their basically sugar drops. Just added two to each bottle before capping and it adds a great fizz after a month or two. Not sure if they work for beer though. ..

    My friend got a load of Innocence apple juice on the cheap a while back. Shoved it in a demi with a little yeast and sugar.... job done! It was really nice and didn't take long at all :-)

    Evening all. I have 10 gallons of homebrew cider thats been going for 2 months now. After pressing i Campden tabbed it and yeasted 24h later. I also added 100g of brewing sugar to each demi just to give it a kick start. One demi i left well alone and kept natural. I racked off after about 5...
