so finally started brewing again and kicked off with this kit, added 1kg sugar to it, having a few issues with new bucket as the tap is leaking at seal of bucket, hopefully when pressure builds it seals itself, or covers my garage floor in sticky liquid. Starting gravity was 1048

Yea I keep mine set at 20 and 1 degree either way

I've just brewed this too and kegged and currently under 30psi of 70/30 beer gas, cant wait to try it

Picked up 2 of these today , king kegs but have a tap pressure gauge and inlet for gas in lid, in his case it also came with an old regulator and a tank of 30/70 co2 and nitro. Anyone seen these before .

As title suggests does anyone use or suggest an inline filter for use between corny keg and beer tower tap, had a hop bag split on me and want to reduce bits in the beer.

Ok down to 1016 but obviously quite bitter , only managed about 70g of hops as they leaf and didn't fit in my hop tube so may just chuck rest of leaf in directly to fv and attempt to strain visiting transfer to keg.

What was your SG and fg brewsmith reckons it should finish 1012 but reading other people they say toucan rarely drop below 1018

Day 8 and currently about 1020 was expecting it to be lower by now but it's not , will give it a few more days see if it drops then I'll panic

Just an update , my can of plain light liquid extract hasn't arrived so decided to to a toucan, got a 1.8kg ipa tin and wilko lightkeeper light ale tin and will Chuck them both in with the wai-iti hops as dry hop still.

Dried leaf I believe, first time as i always use pellets so will be a good experiment , love the hop tho so the more the merrier

Looking at reviews of the feeling hoppy it seems to lack somewhat in hop so was gonna use the full 100g 5 days before kegging

Nice wai-iti tasting refreshing American ipa style beer at about 5% served chilled
