It's certainly a NO from me though I don't like the way that "social media" is screwing with our minds. I know it's driven by a business model which knows no scruples, and I do switch off the "smart" phone and tell certain people DO NOT expect a reply to their message within seconds of receipt.

Though some things haven't really changed since the 70s, such as prejudice and hatred against all manner of people, the celebration of Nazism (even here in the UK). And "social media" is busy assisting.

No because in the early 70’s I was a sperm.

Joking aside I could live without the phone and internet but couldn’t cope with only having 2 channels to watch on the tv.
I would also miss face time and calling my kids one in Australia and one in Canada
So it’s a no from me

I was passing a school on Friday and every pupil that came out the door was engrossed in their phone. No one speaking or looking around them.
I then went for lunch and saw a woman and her young child having a pizza, the mother was on her laptop and the child was watching something on an i pad. Neither were talking to each other. I found that very very sad.
The internet is a curse but it has its benifits

I'd say yes. The seventies were a great time to live through. Oh sure I'd miss the ability to order absolutely anything online, but not much else. Apart from the beer...
