Let my beer in the FV for erm... waaaaaayyyyy too long. Whatdo?

So I forgot/procrastinated about bottling the Summer Ale I'd been brewing. It's probably been a couple of months now and it's still sat in the FV in the corner of the dining room. The lid has never been opened, but presumably it still needs binning?

    New to homebrew

I'm new to this to, but from my very limited experience so far it's worth your while to pick up a turkey baster, trial jar, bottle brush as well. Wilko's sell them all and they have free shipping on ATM!

My first brew tastes of bleach/chlorine :(

Gotcha on the beer bottles, my friends are kinda unreliable but fortunately I'll manage on my own ;) I'll pick up some Star San before my next brew and cross my fingers for the one that's in the FV atm

My first brew tastes of bleach/chlorine :(

Was really hoping for some pointers, am I not asking the right questions? Should I consider the batch a lost cause or is it fixable?

My first brew tastes of bleach/chlorine :(

I tried a bottle of my first brew (Wilko's Golden Lager iirc) when I put it in the garage to condition, tasted ok, but with a pretty strong harsh hit of chlorine. I put it away to condition and tried another bottle about 2-3 weeks later and still the same result. I assumed that I've messed...

    Hello from Bolton

Hi all, my wife bought me my first brewing kit at christmas, a Wilkinson's/Young's Lager kit which I bottled last night. I finally decided to take a look around for some more information beyond the crappy instructions on the box which led me here. Bit worried about my brew now as it now...
