had a couple of sneaky early bottles of this last night. Really nice, not yet clear and not exactly the most complex beer but good body and a nice hoppy flavour without being too bitter. Reminiscent of "dead pony club"

5g at 15min
10g at flame out
10L AT 1041
5G Young's ale yeast.
Will dry hop when fermentation dies down

Colombus hop pellets
5g at 60 min
5g at 30min
5g at 15min

Will be pitching Young's ale yeast and dry hopping with another 10g
First time I have got everything at LHBS instead of buying anything online
500g lager malt - mashed to an hour in 1.5l sparged with 2l
Boiled for an 30mijn, Irish moss at 15 min
Dissolved In 500g dextrose and half a can of "brewmaker essential lager" kit.
Chucked in a hop tea made with 12g Lublin hop pellets
Pitched "Belgian fruit and spice ale yeast" off eBay...
at first the cardmom flavour was overpowering and I thought I had bollocksed this, but then it dropped bright and mellowed and is perfectly drinkable, although not my finest hour.
